The dreaded if it’s a holiday still in 3 days

The faq was updated that now if theirs is a holiday you’re expected in 3 days a week. Before it was up to your manager if the holiday counted as wfh or in office. Wonder how long it will be before there’s no wfh. It’s going to ruin it for other groups that had flexibility before. I would also love to know if it’s badge and vpn or just badge. Oh and the kicker of it’s called “workplace excellence” yeah right

You are fooling yourself, if it’s going to stay at 3X per week. Then it will be 4 x week for a while and then they will ease back into full time.

So 12 days in office per 6 weeks? Seems like a great deal considering how it was prior to covid.

My understanding is you need 3 days a week 4 out of 6 weeks, so while a holiday is not counted as a day in the office, you have some leeway two weeks out of 6 to not do 3 days a week. I also believe you can do 4 days one week and 2 days the following week. If this is true you need to do 12 days in office every 6 weeks with no exceptions for travel, vacations, holidays etc.

The faq is on flagsh*t if you search workplace excellence. 3 days has been mandatory but it wasn’t mandatory to your holiday was considered your wfh day

I feel if your in tech the 3 days is mandatory. Other than that the rest of our office is empty. I'm in CA
