Constructive Dismal?

Any markets experiencing financial centers reducing/eliminating CRS's? The way our ML is going about it seems like constructive dismissal. Literal email went out to FCM's stating those CSR's who choose not to apply for RB positions will be moved to another branch NOT close to home. While I can appreciate its all about the bottom line its the way its being handled that appears bordeline risky in terms of violating employment labor laws. At best that email is a veiled threat to their job. Please no harsh responses. Working in FC's is already hard enough.

Unfortunately under the rules of at-will employment it's often difficult to show that a violation of law took place. If you think one did, however, I agree with the others to consult a lawyer and obtain a legal opinion.

Hire an attorney. Did same to our team and got away with it. Eliminated our jobs, then offered us 2 other job roles to divide group. Second role migration a dead-end telemarketing job at lower pay, weekend hours, unrealistic quarterly quotas, change of reporting structure, job threats if missed quotas, harassment, intrusive new surveillance, etc. After a year, they terminated telemarketing job. They use these changes to reduce head count and target higher paid older workers under guise of "strategic changes". It's all BS.

If they are doing this to employees to make them quit, I would notify human resources first. I know HR is not going to do a damn thing and then I would file a complaint with EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission). This company has sued for millions in the past 20 years for employee discrimination and creating a hostile work environment.

Which labor law are they potentially violating? It’s not nice but it doesn’t break any laws.
