Why are RTO rules not same for everyone. Personally, i know so many people who are not even going 3d/w. What is HR doing about that?

It is mandatory but some hr and executive are lazy enough to call
These jerks have us assigned to come in 3 days per week. Then told us we can only use our area for two days, and have to come Monday and Tuesday. But… 3 days are mandatory. And if you come in on Wednesday or Thursday there’s another team in those seats. So, if you try to sit there then they are like standing over you telling you to move. Calling their manager who is making you move. Some dude was standing over me for like 3 minutes until I logged out and moved. Then, on Friday I guess everybody (Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday crowd) is supposed to show up at the same time and nobody has a space. I wanted to punch that dude in the mouth for standing over me. It’s a toxic work environment. I’ve had enough. If you want people in the office so bad, lease the office space to put them there. Until then, I’ll continue coming like once a week or less.

HARI"S folks, please stop using my desk. Get your own desk in NJ location.
If you are in an I.S. position, don't lose hope at Bank. There are many outside Fulltime Remote positions with other companies you can apply to. I did it and am much happier not having to deal with seat counters plus learning new tech and ideas. Get out now.
so if all Hari's folks are back in ofc , can they be assigned desks rather than using other people's desk without asking and then they leave a mess.
Be thankful for flexible work arrangement folks! Goldman Sachs is making everyone come in 5 days a week. also, for the folks that are coming in less then 3 days, are the working nights too?
I would not worry too much as long as you are consistently compliant going forward.

How far back will the individual contributors report be pulled?
Individual contributors will be included in the next report at the end of October. The only other people included so far in my area are managers or people who did not come in at all.
I heard they are only tracking managers with direct reports right now.

@knl+1oInh8FO How can HR make it difficult to get an accommodation? Seems like they’re setting themselves up to get slapped with some discrimination suits.. they had better be pushing equally as hard on these as they were (or weren’t) from the start!

It is true. I know for a fact he is calling people.
I missed the 3-day mandate one week and got a call. Apparently, it's very inconsistent throughout the bank with some areas pushing harder than others to make life miserable for the employees. It depends on who needs more "responsible growth" headcount reduction.
RTO is at management discretion & since they have favorites ... there will always be a discrepancy in how the policy is enforced or not enforced.
You can try to get medical accommodations to side step your manager but it will have to be approved by HR & they are not making it easy right now.

If you're not in office 3 days a week, you're getting a phone call if you're in Hari's org. He's already done that with some folks.
