India outsourcing.

Admin, why are posts deleted that reference outsourcing work to India resulting in US layoffs?

@1jdg

I can shorten this for clarity:

“The Gen Z and millennials here in US have no concept of this discrimination nor that they practice it”.

Exactly my experience as well. I get a lot more deliverables and higher quality work offshore. You cannot beat the attitude, work ethic and sheer commitment to the job offshore. It really makes a difference.

This has been my experience as well. I’m constantly reminded of how valuable our India employees are. They simply come in and work without the drama, horseplay and politicking of American workers.

It’s pretty clear by all these xenophobic comments aimed at American employees who’s writing them.

This has been happening for over 10 years at companies across the country, stop acting like it's new. And to be honest I have staff performing functions in both locations and the India staff far outperforms over most of the onshore team who are just doing the bare minimum for a paycheck

“They know that non BNY people probably read this so they can't let them know that BNY is turning into an Indian company”.

Too funny… “can’t let them know that BNY is turning into an Indian company”.

An Indian company with 85% of employees in the United States :-)

Allow me to guess…. University of Phoenix graduate in third grade mathematics?

India workers are well educated, hard working and committed to their jobs. They’re actually much like all of the previous generations in the U.S.A. were before GenX and subsequent generations.

I can almost understand parts of this post but most of it is passionately indecipherable. Could you please huddle up with a coworker or a friend… perhaps someone who wrote your résumé before you got your job here, revise and repost?

I’m sorry but your post is passionately written pure gibberish. Could you huddle up with a coworker to help you rewrite it?

@1jdg, there is no such thing as reverse discrimination . There is only discrimination. And it is usually not against those who claim to be discriminated against.

Look. No need to over Analyze it.
It’s simple-
Our jobs are being taken away and moved to another country were they are paid pennies on the dollar…. And along with that, the executives are raking more and more and bonuses.

The reality is, much like the government… The people in charge are causing finger-pointing & resentment amongst the masses to deflect what they’re actually doing and taking from us.
You see it here, even with some thing like the HR folks. We’re all pi---d off at HR but the reality is, while I don’t agree with it, they’re just trying to keep their job… Instead of being pi---d off at the HR staff, the frustration and anger should be directed at the executives Dictating how they do their jobs

There is a deliberate and methodical infusion of hate in the BNYM environment and elsewhere by the social justice activists. When the public and Government is against affirmative action (lets not debate that here) the goalof these hate mongers are to inflict the same damage they did in the Indian society in the name of reservation.

Yes there is discrimination everywhere - be it white, black, orient, latino. Reverse discrimination . These cannot be eliminated by laws.

Looking at history we have come a long way by integrating - not by force. The Gen Z and millennials here in US have no concept of this discrimination nor they practice. May be the political storm created by BLM a few years back (and that too has died down significantly) - A stray incident here and there (in my neighborhood a disgruntled colored (said deliberately to stress that discrimination is from both ends) person with his bull dog in tug harasses immigrants to go-back-where-they-came-from)

Why these hate-mongers are promoting this (the California bill, the Seattle council etc) here These bills have zero effect and are token in nature. They are insulting the new generation and may be instilling that discrimination that exists in India (and elsewhere) into them.

We have mechanisms to document and report on this to n-p it. Need Not complain here. If one does not utilize those channels then one has to question their motive. Their motive is not to work against it but to leverage it for their advantage and may be bla..kmail.

This is exactly what happens in India and they want to bring this over here - Truly speaking the OP and anyone who posts like that need to go back to India and spread the hate there not here - Truly and they are the poison that will hurt this American fabric

I’m not the Admin but I certainly can explain.

To be honest, most all of the India outsourcing and onshore H-1B threads here have been taken down because of racist and/or derogatory references to their to their dominant religions and customs. Plus many Americans are frustrated that India schools provide a better education level and work ethic as found in India. Certainly not in the lower castes, but in the higher castes they do have far better education than most 4 year college programs.

People cannot contain their own racism so they demonize wonderful people who honestly are ahead simply because they studied and worked harder than Americans.

I for one am glad to see them taken down by the moderators.

Very true with regular complaints and claims india continues to grow, while the colleagues onshore rectifying these events are let go.
