Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Branch closures on the rise at Bank of America

I have been seeing many branches in the midlantic either temporarily closed or closed permanently. This is not a good thing to see here at Bank of America.. I already see other banks such as Wells Fargo, Citi., PNC and Chase closing many branches. This downsizing is going cause massive layoffs and reducing those worthless azz middlemanagers that work here at Bank of America.

The managers in my friend’s team don’t know anything about the technology or data analysis or math. Company has tons of these mid level managers.

The bank has gone from the height of open branches of 6100 and now we are down to 3900. Just let that sink in and after all that we are still employing 210,000 employees. Yes there will be further consolidation along the way but it's not all doom and gloom. Clearly the direction is too let the older employees either retire or leave on there own with no severance pay. Replaced by the college interns that we can employee at half price.

The consolidation continues, it’s a scary time. If you pay attention to announcements coming out it paints a picture of heavy consolidation with more to come. Buckle up! I got moved to a new role today with no notice

All of this is concerning for the future of all employees
Financial Centers, Contractors, Call center, Sales, Fulfilment, ML, Merchant services, etc ...
wonder how much longer we are going to carry the unnecessary roles such as Business Support Managers, Analysts Mid level managers and Assistants Cut the fat, repurpose these employees.
Morale is at an all time low.
