Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

New EG.5 variant causing massive uptick in hospitalization nationwide.

I hope this company realizes that a new variant is causing many people to be hospitalized. There have been several employees in my area that have been hospitalized for covid. Human resources didn't even notify us. We found out word of mouth. This company doesn't give a rats azz about us. F-K YOU BOA!!!!!

Funny how If you post against the covid narrative, they delete your post. A "pandemic" that is constantly having to be advertised to get people on board isn't a pandemic.

There are plenty of treatments that make covid less serious. budesonide nasal spray for example will keep you out of the hospital. I've had covid a few times, the headache is the worst part.

Its management's way to hind behind the ceil of gray area words like business need and lob initiatives or directives branch policy or whatever all so the chosen few can benefit.

I've been saying this all along. The inflation bump they gave everyone under $100,000 should have been spread out to those that were mandated to work in office as well.

We still have associates that haven't returned to office yet they can go to sporting events, travel, etc. Some are not HR approved exceptions. Go figure!

It's everyone's business that some people are still allowed to wfh while others have been mandated to appear in person while spending more money coming into the office between gas tolls parking alone 😒
People in office should get a pay bump until we are 100% RTO

“I know a guy”… How is that your business? Petty and hatful is very smart - no doubt. Oh yes - spreading rumours and panic for entertainment is going to better all of our lives…

Where are the managers who are supposed to do their job? Managers these days don't even have the spine to send their incessantly sick and coughing nasty phlegm everywhere. Those signs that say "if your sick stay home". Guess those are gone too. I guess we shouldn't hold sick people for not taking sick days to PREVENT everyone in the office from feeling like sh*t once they catch what they have.

I know a guy who has not been back to the office since the original lockdown. He refuses to go into the office, despite being told he has to. He is no doubt going to get laid off in the next round of layoffs, as he is making good money as a SVP level, well over 50 and white. He refuses to find a remote job because he doesn’t want to take a pay cut. He might be the stupidest person I know as he is setting himself up to be fired for refusal to come in and no severance for insubordination.

It’s not that difficult to come into the office, people are just lazy. He’s going to lose his job at the worst time in economic history as we are in the free fall right now.

Hospitalizations related to COVID in the US are 1/3rd of what they were in January and you are freaking out?

It is what it is or what you're told it is. Think about that for a min.
