I don't know about the CSC, but I'm down with OPP.
Mellon 3 had lead pipes and the water wasn’t drinkable, the same with Mellon 4. We had to buy our own polar water. You’ve clearly never worked in either.
I worked in Mellon 3, the Union Trust Building, OBNYM and the MCSC. The MCSC was the best facility that I’ve ever worked in. There is nothing more that the MCSC needs. It’s an awesome facility.
Fess up. You have NEVER BEEN IN THE CSC. Otherwise you wouldn’t post such rubbish. I worked for 20 years there, 10 at OBNYM and 10 between Mellon 3, Mellon 4 and Mellon 2.
The timeframe for the move to the CSC is five years, starting this year. That’s a long time in any business. Anything could happen over those years. It also allows the bank enough time to tweak the plan, retain some space at OMC (if needed) or take some other tactic. Too soon to get worked up about it. The whole Covid/WFH storm should be in the rear-view mirror before this move it complete. Things can - and will - change.
People here just exaggerate so much. The CSC is a thoroughly modern facility and was designed perfectly for our needs. It’s the best building that I’ve ever worked in and I’ve worked for many banks in many facilities.

No they’re not. Every single complaint here on facilities comes down to “wha wha wha “ I want to work at home.”
You milked the pandemic, saved tons of money with no commute and as we know now many of us worked dual jobs during the day.

The CSC is the best building that we have. OBNYM was shoddy construction with numerous problems for decades afterwards.

They do have enough room. The bulk of OBNYM has always been rented out and the CSC is one heck of a large space.
