This has been confirmed by several people in woodland Park - out by 12/31.
@3mar keeps spewing the lie about Scharf's warning to Oriskany even though google proves there was no mention of it on this site. The fact is, he was very impressed with the site and was talking about expanding CNY.
At least Oriskany had four years notice from Scharf. Many of us had a stress free leisurely job hunt. I know that I did.
This is a ridiculous claim, for now, because there has been no formal communication and it's only a month away. When they closed Florham Park it was at least a 6 month warning. Where are they going to send the 100s of people that go there?

West Paterson does not exist anymore. It changed its name to Woodland Park in 2009. Same as East Paterson - that is gone also - it’s Elmwood Park.
They’re planning to close most of the sites. With the automation system coming in, there will be least need for bodies. Five year plan started last year. They only want the pits and Florida office in the USA. Everyone needs to be prepared for this. Doesn’t matter how good you are or who you know it’s coming and soon many will be unemployed.
There are no other closings in nj expected. BTW Woodland park is in west Paterson. Give us some real news not fake.

Oriskany wasn’t the only location. Where do you guys get your info? locations in Chicago have been home for several months because they closed their location and one in Florida is expected too which is why everything is suddenly st Mary. They’ll do the same with others they deem small and not worth paying utilities for even though Oriskany was larger than MW claimed. PA and NYC need to go along with India Based on incompetence if nothing else

Scharf was thoughtful in giving 4 years of warning that Oriskany would be closed. It allowed us to conduct a leisurely Jon search and we all wound up better off.
