You can tell what band range they are in by the failure to address issues & gaslighting tactics used to minimize the message. When people result to sending personal attacks instead of using a tangible yet actionable response- it's telling.

If it’s so awful, why not leave?

No one will hire you? I’m shocked!

Bank of America has both employees and contracted employees
The total number is irrelevant
The comment said you don't know all of them & clearly you don't
You don't know exactly who is being targeted, why and how.
What is actually correct is that gaining attrition has been a multi faceted approach
They are using threats, lack of growth/bonus/earnings and targeted harassment
None of this is conducive of a company that is running commercials every 5 seconds about their values.
The point is, run the business as a business and not like a parent nagging a teenager. It's a toxic culture and there are no 2 ways about that.
Every single person with a title of leadership has the choice to decide what type of leader they want to be remembered as.

Somebody needs to get a grip on life. Funny you think we have 250,000 employees. We actually have 213,000 and dropping. People are retiring and people are leaving for greener pastures. The bank has very little appetite to layoff anyone right now as the don't want pay severance and unemployment. The bank in certain cases might target a handfull of people but very few. The bank tactics are weeding out people by low bonuses, no pay raises and badge swipes. So I would advise you get a grip and either show up and do your job or don't and leave BOA.

@ "Nobody got a haircut at BOA"
LMAO
They have not publicly done layoffs, just a quiet behind the scenes targeting of employees
Do you think you know all 250k employees? No you don't
Do you think you know of all the settlements that the bank had to pay because of mid level management ignorance. No you don't
No one is "bored"
People are scared for their careers/ability to care for themselves and their families because the bank has created a toxic culture that is literally allowing targeted harassment, discrimination by age and a montage of other factors.
It would be more respectable if they were to do layoffs based on business need instead of allowing a bunch of mid level hacks to harass dedicated employees who gave their all so that the execs could ride the wave of record profits
Get a whole grip on reality before you insult people that are literally working under the current reign of te---r.

W6BR,
I used to work at AT&T and back in the 90's in either Basking Ridge or Parsippany a large number of managers (sorry I can't remember the exact number) came back from a meeting to find emails letting them know they were fired as of 12-31. They got the emails around Thanksgiving.

Citi 300 senior managers shown the door . Just wait until they drop the hammer on the lower level employees. Going to get ugly fast. Happy Turkey Day too those 300 managers.

They're not cutting on Thanksgiving week. That's a ridiculous idea from a PR standpoint as well as the number of people who would be OOO.
