This place is the absolute worst! The only way the executives can make their numbers is to nickel and dime the employees. I worked here 8 years -benefits get cut every year - Every year its the same story for bonus pool - you get pitched against your co-workers. No matter how much you work you are only going to get rewarded 1 out of four years - if that. If you get back to back raises / promotions you are on the chopping block the following year . They absolutely dont care about the quality of work - they just need 'bodies' that can run the bank.
How long before the clients and customers realize the absolute cr-p service BNY Mellon provides ? 2-5 years. Robin is happy counting his bonus with 'balance sheet management ' pitch. Shame on you - Get out of your executive suites and go talk to some real employees.
No changes there.
So will they still deduct from your last pay if you took more vacation than you accrued?
Even Charlie didn't stoop this low... Although he's probably taking notes on this for Wells.
Worked in different industries (healthcare, retail, banking) and never worked for a company that doesn't pay accrued vacation at the end of employment.
First not paying your matching 401k contributions until the next year, now this. Yet they will still make you pay for vacation used that you did not accrue. The senior leadership in this company are such sc-mbags. I am not sure how the sleazy Robin Vince sleeps at night.
BNY treats employees so bad; I am going to put few small formula errors into the file to cost the managers headache for the coming week as return. I will say those are accidents during work process.
"Giving Tuesday" was followed by "Taking Wednesday."
My cup runneth over...
Layoffs are always coming
Id rather not work there....
I’d rather have SUB than a few weeks vacation.
Look at the big picture
Don't count on this company for anything. More importantly, have a spouse with a paying job (even better if it pays better than your own)
Just when you thought they couldn't squeeze more out of your pocket. They will start charging you rent soon for sitting at a desk.
No wonder Jolen Andersen left....she knew we all are about to get jerked, even further!
Shithole
Layoffs are coming too.
AMAZING!!
