Was there an email sent out advising of the deadline of when our comments were due? If so, wondering if those who did not get the email - does this mean we are part of the November layoffs

FYI manager's comment are due on the 27th. Get them done.
No email notification stating when they were due. Received an email today saying I was overdue. I don’t recall year end reviews being due this early. Must need managers year end assessments before the November layoffs.
No email communication received by anyone I'm aware of. Manager sent us a reminder on Oct 19th. A significant percentage of our department did not get it submitted on time. Some still haven't completed it. First time I can ever recall not getting an email communication for year end self-evaluations. Seems very unusual, though I'm not sure what it means, if anything.
No email was sent, wad posted on MySource approximately 3 weeks ago as a featured article and then dropped to regular news a week later.
