Question regarding Work From Anywhere: are the WFA days meant to be a direct substitute for in-office days or do these get deducted from the overall number of days subject to 60% in-office? If one needs to be fully remote for a week, do you input 3 WFA days or 5?

@21xe if you do a search on Working Together then scroll to share point link then go to key resources for the link to work from anywhere. There is a specific question on Can I utilize WFA to spend additional days at home.

This is great to know. Where can I find the info, mysource?
@2zmj That’s actually incorrect now. HR changed the rules recently and rewrote the wfa requirements to allow people to use them as extra wfh days.
Unless you have set in stone specific designated in office days, then you need to input 5 WFA days for the week (even if your requirement is 3 days) these days are not meant to be used for wfh when you can't make it to the office, you're actually supposed to be out of state/country to be using them
Start period with 20 workdays
Subtract any holidays, WFA, Vacation, Personal Days etc. to get your new denominator
(ex 1 holiday, 2 vacation 1 WFA in period makes new denominator =16)
Multiply Denominator x 0.6 to get required days in office (16*0.6 = 9.6)
Can round down to 9 and stay compliant.
The 60% rule still applies. For the 4 week period, remove your WFA, vacation, and holiday from the overall total of days and factor 60% to meet the requirement.
I'd say 3 WFA days should be submitted.
…and the BAH double standard keeps rolling along
Yes. I have used them and have confirmed with my manager that an office day is subtracted if you utilize the WFA in my source. It is all relative to the 4 week rolling period. If you need to be remote for an entire week you need to bring your available office days for the period down to 15
