Band Level Compensation Limit

Is anyone aware of the salary caps by Band Level (for non-revenue generating roles)?

Preparing for 2024 comp conversations, thank you! :)

We can't list the specific numbers becuase there are THOUSANDS of them, you mo--n.

It's not like there a 5 levels that align across every LOB and market.

In my division there are 50 different B4 roles. The JOB CODE defines the range, not the band itself.

Why not just ask your manager directly, what is the full compensation opportunity for my job code and what do I need to do more of (kiss azz)/less of (not kiss azz) to achieve that?

Or.... take on more responsibility to become a manager and you can see all the differences for yourself.

B4 poster complaining about waffling…what is your salary? Bonus without knowing your base isn’t very helpful.

But was is your base? It’s a total comp thing is my understanding. Lower bases tend to have higher bonus and vice versa is my understanding..

Why do people waffle so much even in an anonymous chat? Why can't you discuss actual numbers? It depends, it varies ? How does it help OP or the people who want to know? If you know the numbers, post it. Otherwise don't. As a b4 employee, my bonus was 30k last year in Charlotte.

Need you to be more precise. I've been a manager in 3 different divisions here, and in each of those hierarchies, the base salary range was set by Job Code (not Band).

The ranges -- even for same "band" level -- varied across the 3 groups I was hiring into.

The salary ranges across bands overlap.

Plus, there is a geographic overlay.

(In the U.S., markets vary -- Major Metro (e.g. NY) higher than Chicago, which is higher than Iowa (rural), etc. for same role. The geographies used to be rated A (highest), B (mid), and C (lowest).
