Anticipating layoffs with the upcoming org changes especially teams that don’t neatly fit into the model… anyone have the inside scoop?

Anybody knows how many pods fit on top of three pillars?
I can’t wait until the regulators come in and find all of the processes we had to create to avoid huge fines are all broken because of this nonsense.
Pod model may work well under some conditions. The problem arises when this model (or any other model) is blindly and forcefully applied across the board, and impacts all teams and groups and apps.
Some may actually benefit, after a short adjustment period. Others will probably endure pain without any rewards or gains.
I am curious how wide this initiative spans? Is it across all business/tech areas, or only for some? Or only impacts tech groups which really own platforms (rather than tenant apps)?
Are other banks using this model? It’s the d-mbest thing I ever heard
Why does it seem that none of the leadership are actually focused on running the Bank?
If the pod has more managers and directors than anything I would call it an ideal displacement target.
Pods are already formed thanks to the lighthouse projects it’s been ongoing for months and it’s not new. And they paid the external firm $1MM to come up with that great idea
Wonder what bnym paid to have the consultant feed them the load of BS to buy into this new” op model” 🙄

They don’t need to form pods. There are already pods . There have been under the cr-ppy lighthouse project that’s been going on for several months. All this is , is opportunity for others to come take your teams process and leave you with nothing

Yes it's simple. Directors/Managers need to form pods. Pods should not be more than. 10 people.
