I worked for this cr-p place for almost 20 years. Escaped 2 years ago and it's never been better. My excuse always was "nobody pays like BAC". Not true, especially after they continue to bleed you dry for 2% increase a year....what a joke. Take the leap, move on

The bank doesn’t do any upskilling. The bank hires people but doesn’t train them to keep up with technology. People have been here 15-20 years and want to leave, but they can’t. Nobody will hire them because their skills are outdated.
It’s not that people don’t want to move on. They can’t find anything to move onto. My guess is that a lot of the complainers on this thread talk about how the bank su-ks and it’s so much better outside (but they don’t leave because they can’t).
:(
My gut tells me there is one poster in dreamland saying the same thing over and over again. That almost EVERY company outside of the bank offers 4 weeks of vacation with full remote work.
Are there some? Absolutely. Are they the majority? Absolutely not. Most companies still start people off at two weeks, unless you’re in management. You have to earn tenure to get that extra week, and then more. That’s pretty standard.
And a lot of companies (not all, but most) are moving from on-site to hybrid, and rolling back remote to hybrid. Seems like hybrid is here to stay (and fully on-site/fully remote is gone).
Some of you are delusional. I love how u talk about time off, but BOA gives u 3 wks to start 10 OI days and like 11 holidays. I took 16 wks parental leave off last year. I have friends who have barely any holidays and like 2 weeks vaca. You can't touch our benefits. BOA isn't perfect, but the fact you people are bi--hing when u still got a raise... and a bonus... says everything you need to know.
4 weeks, 11 holidays is the standard no? Every place I've worked had that. Only difference is most other places had unlimited sick
Left a year ago, new gig has 20 vacations days to start, no stress, better pay, better bonus, better merit increases and full time work from home! I recommend everyone to leave, they really don't care at the bank and it shows, especially every year end review time. 1-2% raise when you've busted your a$$ is unacceptable.
I left this bank years ago. I couldn't understand how incompetent mofos were leaders in this shlithole. I believe in diversity and inclusion but you don't have to put complete buffoons in leader roles. This can happen only in bank of AMERICA!!!!!
Would love to hear where or what companies these are, let the people know
So many companies start employees at 4 weeks off plus holidays… takes years to get that at BofA.
Left after many, many years and never looked back. They overly abuse you, and grossly under pay you. Don’t believe me? Check glassdoor or any salary generator.
Where is everyone going? Been here 17 years and just put in a role that I know nothing about and no training. Yet my boss says they are setting me up for success. I’m over it!
It was the best decision I made. I get very similar benefits with 4 weeks vacation and holidays off. Also a bonus much better pay, raises and bonuses. BOA is a sh*thole.
4 weeks off is actually becoming common I find. I'm at a place where I get 4 weeks off as well as 1 week at Xmas where the company shuts down
5 years here. Similar situation. Every day working here felt like I was living in a Franz Kafka novel. After awhile, it became difficult to take the bank seriously with all its missteps and blunders. It's a strange place. #hotelcalifornia
What about time off? Comparable to BAX with 20 vacation days, 11 holidays, and 5 personal days?
As I get older, time off is more important than more pay.
