Don't get me wrong, the anti-remote work fiasco and the high layoffs during his time here made things stressful, BUT, he played the villain pretty well. Everything bad could be traced back to him and it was something to bring us all together. He himself knew he was bad with his smug look.
RV is a pretty bad guy, too, but he is so forgettable of a character that he's just one small cog of a corrupt machine that is making lives miserable for anyone.
So, uh, in closing: CS = horrible despot but probably the single source of most problems
vs today's oligarchy - several villainous fiends as opposed to simply the CEO.
