401(k) Vesting BNY Contribution

I know the vesting period is 3 years, but is it 3 yrs from from your first day? So if you started July 1, 2021, after July 1 2024 your 401k contributions from BNY will be 100%? Or is it full year? Ie Jan 1 2025?

On Voya I show my total amount ad fully vested but I’ve been here only 2 years. Shrugs.

Per the 401(k) plan documents, if you were hired on or before 12/31/20, the company matching contributions are 100% vested. If you were hired after 12/31/20, company matching contributions are vested 100% after you have completed 3 years of vesting service with some exceptions around death, turning 65 or being approved for long-term disability. See page 11 of the Summary Plan Description on MySource for all of this.

I really don't think they changed the vesting. On Voya, it doesn't say 3-year vest next to the employer contribution for you?

I've been with the bank for about 3 moths and I am fully vested. Not sure if they changed the rules recently.
