I am hopeful that the platform model is a huge and rapid disaster and Robin and his lackeys are forced out by the board of directors.

The point is that you’ll be surprised when your references give luke warm recommendations. A slacker here will slack anywhere.

If you don’t care about doing a good job that says more about you than BNYM.

The whining here is just incredible.

My motivation dries up every time I enter one of our bathrooms. People at this place need to see a gut specialist. The dumping is out of control.

I was carefully planning my exit last year. I always yhought I could work out a layoff. Unfortunately, I guess my manager mistook my "consider me for layoff" (multiple times) statement as a joke.

Once I handed in my "retiring" email, all of a sudden he said we could have talked about a possible layoff.

Oh well, i'm hoing to retire on my own terms in a few weeks. Gave them plenty of time for me to hand iver my responsibilities to someone else.

I made sure i was able to get my 401k match and bonus. I would have preferred a year layoff package, but oh well - I couldn't be that lucky.

My leaving isn't at a perfect time, but it's still better than sticking around here and being miserable.

It is pointless since I know I have no future with this company.
