My Work

Anybody still old school Mywork. I heard HR is reviewing everybody one by one to decide if you should still be home or not.

I’m watching a team member from a different team fighting to stay working from home after getting a return to office notice. They’re working on getting a medical accomodation for a condition they’ve had for years. Right now it is work from home, or return to office with a private office. I will let you know when I hear, but any guesses how this will play out?

Yes. Nearest office to me is over two hours away and in another state.

I joined MyWork 15 years ago when the firm was pushing hard for people to do it to save expenses. Everyone thought I was crazy at the time to work from home and not go into the office with a dedicated work space.

Yep. Reviewing everyone. Some in my group told to return after 10 years

I personally know someone who switched roles and kept their old school MyWork.

Also, some medical accommodations aren’t, and will not be, reviewed annually. So be careful with those blanket statements.

I know several still in my work without special accomodations. It's like when your cell phone company changes the plan structure but they let you keep your old plan. They are grandfathered into the program as long as they don't make any changes, for example, switching jobs.

Correct. MyWork will have to obtain medical accommodation annually.

Great idea! It would be even better if HR denied everyone and make them reapply.
