I got laid off end of last year, few weeks later I found out that there is new role opening (lower grade) in the same department. I am so frustrated and disappointed on my manager who never help / think to redeploy me.
People in bnym is nice but I’m unlucky to be in toxic team and drama manager

Yep - my position has been eliminated- in my case I’m sure it will be replaced at a lower grade and/ or a low cost site.
That’s the game managers play with their employees livelihood. They plan months ahead who their victims are and then play this torment game of under rating you on your performance to justify in their sick heads justification for displacing you. This is the mental part that causes so much anger that’s initially hard to get over - you’ve been played. You’ll replay conversations in your head over and over now realizing their game.
Move on and become your best self. The good part is that sooner or later the universe will serve them the revenge that they deserve.
