Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

RV Kool Aid email about results

I just love being called “high performing yet human culture”, and being listed last in the 3 attributes. Pretty much tells me how employees are not valued, just another thing to this corporation, an expense, not assets.
Largest class of early in career talent, thanks to the numerous and never ending layoffs of those 50 or older.

“Human culture” is more gobbledygook from overpaid consultants. Thanks, McKinsey.

What the heck is "human culture"? It's impossible to have culture without humans by definition.

Early in career talent is Corporate speak for "cheap". Get a few years out of them then repeat.

When an org has to qualify its culture with the inclusion of “yet human” in the description, you know it’s a problem.
