Funny how they preach that Hamilton is the founder. Hamilton founded BNY. Mellon founded Mellon. Neither exists anymore. Such falsities. Maybe more should start to preach that and really twist their pa-ties.

Good thing we took advantage of all those synergies. Like legal fees and severance charges.
That’s because Senior Management sold it as a merger of equals, which it never was.
Hence I wrote this poem:
They called it a merger of equals
wrote a Harvard Case study as the prequel
But in Years two and three
Pittsburgh soon ceased to be
with glass ceilings and layoffs the sequel
@3nom, for some reason some legacy Mellon employees like to think the companies merged instead of BNY buying Mellon.
Who cares. Why was this even worthy of a post
Sadly, thanks to Bob Kelly who sold Mellon to BONY NYC is correct that Hamilton is indeed the founder. Incredibly sad, but true.
Bring back the red and white logo. He-l, even the pre merger sprialscope.
I was rooting for Aaron Burr.
Hamilton founded the Bank of India Mellon
And the Loyalists have the last laugh. Hamilton is turning in his grave.
You're teaching with this whine
BNY acquired Mellon.
Hamilton was the worst founding father
Halarious to some extent
But the power is in New York where it's still considered the 'Bank of New York'
