Sub pay continues after state unemployment compensation runs out, yes?

If unemployment lasts 26 weeks, and your sub pay package lasts 52 weeks, you continue to get sub pay, I assume? I ask because of the below language in the sub plan. Aren't you technically ineligible for state unemployment benefits after 26 weeks?

Eligibility for SUB Pay and Other Benefits generally terminates on the
first to occur of the following events:
● Ceasing to be eligible for state unemployment benefits;

It also states:
(a) the date the Participant informs the Employer that the
Participant is no longer eligible for state unemployment benefits (other than if the ineligibility occurs
because the Eligible Employee has exhausted the maximum duration of benefits under applicable state
law);

Definitely yes. When you go to the TMS site (which you are supposed to do after receiving each sub pay) to confirm that you are still unemployed, there is an option that says something along the lines that your unemployment has run out but you are still unemployed. Just select that option. The next time you log into the TMS site, take a look and you’ll see that option. That is the one you will select once unemployment runs out.
