You know though that they never answer their phones because they all work at home every day and type back into a portal.

It’s been at least three years since HR had any physical presence in Bank facilities.

Why don’t they allow the rest of us to work from home? It’s just not right.

Sorry, haven’t seen an HR rep in the office since COVID started. HR hides behind the portal, working from home.

I am HR (we’re now called People Team, thanks Robin) and I’ve been in the office 3 times a week for nearly a year and was twice a week for almost two years before that. Everyone on my team has been as well. Now, there are many functions within the People Team. They’re not all what you would consider your typical HR Business Partner - like the person you call when you want to complain your coworker doesn’t bathe or you have a benefits question. Very few companies have that role onsite anymore.

@2xzl

HR makes the rules and flouts the rules. Outside of the HR head there are ZERO HR staff in BNYM facilities going on five years now.

HR is really early retirement at full pay.

I agree its a fing joke when you are trying to get people in 3 days a week and all of the HR staff are still based at home. I was told i had to find a office for my staff that has been BAH for 15 yrs or else.

It’s because a majority of them work from home full time which was rather ironic with the whole rto push when you have people trying to enforce it whom themselves are based at home.

This is unbelievable. Have you ever heard of a company of this size and scale where you couldn't talk to someone in Human Resources?

If you still work here go to MySource and click on the link for People Solutions Center to create a Neo case.

Any contact with HR must be done via the online portal. The call center was eliminated.
