How long before all based at home employees are laid off?? With RTO being such a hot topic I can’t imagine they want to keep based at home employees for much longer.

Charlie warned they had five years and it came five years later to the week.
Awesome to get a five year closure warning.
Once a bustling, busy and nearly full parking lot…BNY Mellon Oriskany parking lot is now completely empty during normal working hours.
My department was already told we will no longer be based in the US. Just waiting for my time to come. Hoping sooner than later.
Some of us based at home don’t have an option because our location was closed. Unless we pack up and move to a location with an office, then hope we still don’t get laid off.
I wish being laid off was an option. I think they will just force it and fire people who don't comply.
If you don't comply, I assume you don't get sub pay in that case.
They will keep you for as long as you are useful and serve their purpose. Just know that there is most likely a plan already in place to move your function to a new location or to automate it. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
I was told this year and it has absolutely zero to do with performance or level. They will not hesitate to replace managers. A number already have a path out.
there are a lot of upper/middle managment based at home. don't see it happening as fast as some see it.
