No, Eagle has far more than a Boeing problem. Eagle never really even got off of the ground. Boeing did but they now go down.

I hope it's true.

As a Client Operations Manager, I can say that our clients hate us. They hate our software because it's been the same dozen people in dev patching it for 20 years with zero innovation. And they hate our service. Escalating to KT is like throwing a problem in the trash heap. Just an untalented bunch with zero work ethic.

I cannot keep working 60-80 weeks trying to make angry clients happy with no light at the end of the tunnel and many of my colleagues feel the same way.

Maybe a new company will give us the support we need to help our customers.

We have caught wind of such rumors and it is starting to spook us internally. Does anyone know when deal is supposed to close because we are worried that our open development work will never be completed?

Your trolling telling me Elon Musk is acquiring.

Elon musk is acquiring as a twitter subsidiary. SGA was a better accounting platform

Know way too much about Eagle to comment anonymously so I’ll simply say that it was a horrible platform from inception and is unfixably bug ridden.

The giveaway that it is being sold is so many senior people (who would be privy to the inner dealings) are leaving the company

Employees leaving for other opportunities are not being offered salary match even if the offer is one dollar more than their current salary.

Any chance someone can provide credible proof that we can fact check? Name of the acquiring company? People involved with negotiations? @2qjd+1rv4syGu You’ve already shared so much and this website is Anonymous.
I work at Eagle and this is my livelihood so this is freaking me out.

I like Eagle. It’s just driving me nuts with all the programs they are building on top of Eagle to do functions Eagle already does. So much redundancy it’s comical. If they would just listen to people who have been using for years instead of trying to make it fit within some model that doesn’t work, things would be so much smoother.

It was a mess from the beginning. It was so bad that it was patched daily by the vendor and then throughout the day, every day. Went on like this for many years.

Yes it will be announced by year end most likely

The negotiations have been very difficult as a lot of BNY business is on that software and converting off is rather cumbersome so it needs to me maintained for 12-18 months after acquisitions at minimum

Also the acquiring company is unsure how many people they want to retain so that presents problems

Eagle has a Boeing problem. The product was great when the company was run by engineers. After the bank fully assimilated Eagle, the product went downhill.

They should just sell off all accounting services. Underwater margins that go deeper each day!

Being the worst fund accounting system in the industry makes me question who would buy it. Maybe someone who would actually improve it?

I don’t know if it’s true but I’ve heard it from multiple people in unrelated areas which definitely makes me wonder
