Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Robin Vince CNBC interview

Pretty evasive when responding to the question about the use of AI and the future of staffing levels. He was specifically asked if that translated into a larger or smaller workforce. Straightforward question/evasive reply.

Unfortunately, we have an office politician running our bank instead of a respected and revered leader in the field of finance! Nobody cares what he has to say. Everyone knows he's full of sh_t! The same goes for our Board and EC! Incompetent buffoons!

He didn’t even answer the question. Just stated the same BS that they keep feeding us that it will help us focus on tasks we’re actually interested in. BS. Since when does he care about us? It’ll be like the Amazon Fresh “just walk out” AI that turned out to be Actually Indians lol. Was 1,000’s of outsourced cashier positions in India where they were just monitoring the shopper from another country lol. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/news/watch-cnbc-s-full-interview-with-bny-mellon-ceo-robin-vince/vi-BB1lJD2X
