Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Thrive together or depress together?

With layoff happening every quarter, what do we even by this principle of "Thrive Together"? We know every company goes through this but doing this every quarter? Is that really what will power our culture?

I’m starting to think Mr 42 is a BNYM bot. It just doesn’t make sense that someone who no longer works here would want to spend so much time on a site that doesn’t have anything to do with them.

All of the major layoffs are over. We’re at the lowest layoff level in bank history.

It su-ks here but layoffs haven’t been an issue for decades.

I believe the era of big layoffs is over. Instead, it's a perpetual layoff where every few days, you notice someone else got vvv'd.
