Heard about imminent layoffs on XD content dev side due to outsourcing initiatives. Anyone else hearing this?

As mentioned below, XD is in Katz’s org under Tyrie - not GTO. Tyrie’s org is a horrible place to have to work these days. He is by far the worst senior leader I’ve encountered in over 20 years. He is so lucky to have Barlow (functioning CMO) because all he cares about is telling stories to the BOD. Dean couldn’t have picked a better replica of himself
There has been no hiring in this broader organization when other areas have started to hire. I bet this rumor is true because it would make sense as leadership is trying to save as many people as possible.
The guy who posted about Nov 2024 layoffs was right. He mentioned GTO and XD team falls under GTO.
If you’re reading this please update us. Where else are they planning cuts?
Apply at USAA… apparently everyone else is and teams are losing great talent in masses
XD is Experience Design, writers, designers, digital, etc... I don't work there any more but I believe it's run by Nikki Katz....Tyrie's organization.
What is XD?
Heard XD has had high turnover in the past few years…maybe the content is becoming stale hence the outsourcing.
I'd happily transfer into this "XD" group to get the layoff and save a teammate's seat.

Oh no! I heard this too, but I was really hoping it was just the usual gossip. It feels like no matter how well you perform you are still always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Does anyone have any idea of the number of layoffs? Will it be widespread or are they just looking to weed out those who are RTO non-compliant? I really don’t want to have to start over.
End of year is coming...sounds possible
