Will everyone have to start coming in 5 days a week in January?

Will everyone have to start coming in 5 days a week in January? First time hearing this. Someone is obviously spreading fear without basis?

For those that don’t believe BofA will not move to 5 in office. Just looke at Amazons announcement today.

This is the most ridiculous protest . For those who said they will vote with their feet.. well what’s stopping you? You said it about RTO and 3 days a week came and you are still here, now it will be 5 days ( 2 more days) and you will still be here. Why? Because paying your bills and having a roof over your head is more important than having to commute, park, get dressed each day , etc.
For those who could not see this coming, maybe you need to find another job. You really thought the company was going to stop at 3 days?

Fake news. Gosh, all the B3s would get fired.

this is not a thing at all. Fear-mongering or HR Troll testing the collective will on this site...

We will vote with our feet.

Ciao!

re: Is anyone else just basically sitting around and doing nothing?

As long as it's in the office 3 days a week, you're a great employee!

This is a physical impossibility in so many locations. We don't have enough desks now for the team coming in three days a week. I would imagine that if this were true (I doubt it is), it only applies to sales and other client-facing, front-office type positions and not tech/ops/support roles.

well, that's a sure fire way to reduce headcount. Katy - bolt the door!

I'd comply to get my YE payout and then "Buh-bye Brian & Co"

Why are these discussions being had to begin with? The rot growing within the bank is almost terminal at this point, and people are really sitting around pondering if making conditions worse is a good idea?

Maybe we've reached the point of no return. The writing is on the wall.
