I know pay ranges aren’t advertised but does anyone have a baseline idea of what the pay ranges are in Lake Mary? Specifically for H, I, and J grades. I can’t wait to see the smart Alec responses but hopefully someone has some meaningful insight lol

You must be internal since you are asking about the grades. Unfortunately moving internally likely starts close to the minimum range of that grade.
Ranges have been relatively the same since 2009 however there was a huge increase to the minimum wage bank-wide for lower grade/entry level staff with slight increases for minimum at other grades. For example grade I was 52.7 but now looks like it's 56 minimum. H was 45.4, J was 59.9 now I think its 63. You asked for range but typically you start near or at minimum so having a range isn't really useful. Diff depts also have differences in pay too, so its not all the same across the board. Now if you come externally that's a diff story.
The economy is in the cr-pper & most companies are downsizing, not hiring. Terrible time to be let go as happens here every month & terrible time to be job searching for anything other that minimum wage jobs.
The only way to know your worth is to conduct a job search. Channel your efforts away from posting the “woe is me” stuff and start a job search. It’s a great time to looking.
The reason for Reddit, Glassdoor, etc. All having literally the same conversations like here is disarmingly simple. Millennials struggling to come to terms with an upcoming life of work. Fortunately most have college degrees courtesy of their parents.
Reddit, Glassdoor, etc. All literally have the same conversations like here because people like to b1tch about their employers.
J- VP in lake Mary 93,000.00 woman same in Pittsburgh but 95,000.00 man🤔F in Pittsburgh right out of college 53,000.00....depends alot on experience...
Some states require that salary ranges be disclosed in the job postings. As an external candidate, I asked for the middle of the range, based on my experience. I didn't get the job, it went to an internal person, probably at or even below the salary range. Why even post phony salary ranges if not willing to pay? Cheap A$$eS
If you really want to know look for the ads they have to post for the folks they are sponsoring for labor certification. They have to specify the range. And job description can also give a hint on the level (which they need not specify).
And you will find most of them are for J K and L levels some M levels.
To those who just had to take the bait and give snarky responses; do better.
@1jtc+1tZbJh7u Cry about it. I can see why you’d pacifically be worried about your job
OP, an offer? This site is literally called layoff.com. There are at least half a dozen other resources available to you for this information, Reddit, Glassdoor, etc.
TBH I’m not totally shocked that they’ve offered to hire you, pacifically, in Lake Mary.
The firm keeps these ranges under wraps. It is not information that is widely available to employees. I suspect you are getting an offer at the minimum, at best 20% into the range. To add on to the post below, Investment Management and Wealth Management have higher ranges for the same pay grade.
@1crc+1tZbJh7u How low balled I’m getting on an offer. But yes I understand the job function thing for sure.
The range is wide. Also pay depends on the job title and business unit or department. Example given the same job category say H, the pay could be higher if you are in Wealth Management than Compliance department.
They are wide and overlap each other. It really comes down to your job function. Client facing roles pay more than operations roles for example. What are you trying to figure out?
