For the record, 42 is in a red state but maintains a blue state presence only due to family reasons and other concerns.

To state the obvious, 42 is the only one who has never whined here.

Honestly, claiming PTSD for an operations job is an absolute insult to our employees who have actually served in the armed services, and there are many.

Now that you're no longer working for that sh_thole company anymore, just do what I do. Come on this website and blast BNY's incompetent management for every single one of their mo--nic decisions! Hopefully the whole world sees how mismanaged the bank is and none of BNY's useless leadership will ever get a job anywhere on the street ever again! Expose these frauds for who they are! Remember: Revenge is best served cold!

Trust me, it's very therapeutic.

I have it. And need to focus on getting myself out of this place.

PTSD? That sounds more like ‘posting totally ‘stewpid’ drivel’. And that is evident from 40% of the posts here from Mr 42 P.U. Right on down to the blue city liberal whining babies on RTO, entitlement, grammar police and then those dinosaurs who think Mellon was some kind of nirvana. BNY is now doing this bootcamp stuff to drive these runny cracked eggs out of here. Shareholders know it. Clients see it. If you are suffering, you will find a way to stop it. Complaining won’t do it.

Just curious, which locations and teams are they laying off employees the most?

@coy

They don’t. They post dates constantly and about 4 times a year one of their “guaranteed layoff dates” is correct. so they’re about 4 lucky dates per year out of 365 predictions.

If PTSD didn’t occur during the layoff era from of 2000 to 2008,10% displacement every year, no exceptions… then it surely isn’t happening now.

And after witnessing the ultra low January and February layoffs in person, while touring the facilities and connecting with former coworkers, I’m quite confident that it didn’t occur now.

More than likely 2nd week of September and US workers stop being in denial.

It's plan and simple. If you are not in a growth location and if you are training your replacement in India. Only a matter of time.
