I don't even get free coffee and some locations are getting head?
From bottom to top: exhausted, spineless, micro manager with no idea how things are supposed to go, clueless , greedy
My area had a new person assigned last year after they laid off the prior one. Everyone raved about him. He oversees corp trust and operations. He has NEVER formally introduced himself to his operations mgrs, he shows zero interest with what we have going on, wont approve reqs, wont allow promotions, doesnt have a clue as to what we do or what we have to deal with and of course provides no support for this team what so ever . Im beyond sick and tired of these senior d-mbasses the bank has to be honest

Most department heads at BNYM only upward manage to keep moving up. They do not put much effort into managing down because that doesn't help them move forward. They are only looking for friends above them, not below. The upward management is good and therefore everything under them appears to be going well.

Our senior managers in our UK office are mostly completely useless, not responding to emails, showing no responsiveness with clients, and ignoring the requests sent to them. Honestly, it would be better if they weren’t there at all.
