In the eyes of management, you're no longer a responsible professional. They don't see the need to measure your performance by your results or how effective you are at what you do. Today, you are nothing more than a body that's expected to keep a seat warm until they get rid of the seat. You are to be treated like a child and micromanaged to fail.
I can describe our leadership in one word "FAILURE!"

You are a fool. Have you worked IN the office and noticed how the MDs spend their time ?? They walk around the floor chit chatting and bullsh-tting about their high end cars and weekend home projects while belittling other staff.,This is very productive? ‘Who is monitoring whom in this co.

This place is beyond what anyone can fix.
If you load and run their software or applications on your own personal devices, then you get what you deserve. Oh, they tell you they omit your files and personal folders from scans…… yeah sure. and bears are catholics and the pope goes #2 in the woods too.
The problem is they took all of our work away and shipped it overseas. They literally said give us a list of everything you do and then forced us to train offshore. Left us with a skeleton crew to pretty much review work. It means a lot of time is just spent waiting or answering questions. Pretty much makes a depressing work environment. Then to add this on top of it is nonsense. If they want to finish what they were doing and lay off US employees then do so. Stop buying stupid programs to give you a reason to terminate people so you don’t have to call it a layoff. Just get it over with already.
BNY is an employer.. It pays you to work and be part of the firm. You have negotiated that you WOULD work for 8 hrs (minimum) per day whether you are at Office at Home or at a client site.
Why if someone monitors you, if you are truthful should bother you. If you are dishonest then you need to worry. If you are physically required (part of your agreement) to be servicing during business hours then stick to it. If you are a technologist and can spread your 8 hrs across 24 hr then abide by it
If someone counts every minute and you are uncomfortable then move on. This mechanism MUST scare people who goof off watch Netflix (and expect to get paid for that) not the regular honest workers.
If the system stipulates you with respect to the bathroom break you get then it is a sweat shop. One can protest - The AI may collect the data but the bank will never enforce it. I believe it.
