looking for inputs on 401k match . Can bny decide your last date overriding the min notice period policy ?

Depending on what state you're in, could be employment at will, which means even if you submit notice, BNY could terminate you before your noticed date.
If your grade does not require a notice period of resignation I or J+ depending on dept. Than control what you can and don't give notice, provide resignation and termination date in Oracle as same day, matching the date you need for benefits.... Sure it'll pi-s people off, but they will do whatever they can to shortchange you.
