Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Its not just layoffs pissing us off....

  1. Goodbye MyWork. Get ready to come back into to office. You will get 60 days notice and an explanation of "well we have space now so come back in." Be prepared to start paying for internet again, paying to commute, being trapped in an office doing the exact same work.

  2. I'll take your band please. Wanna keep your job? Ok well we are going to bump you down from a band 5 to a 6, reduce your pay, put you on hourly and take your extra week vacation. But hey you still have a job so be happy and work hard.

  3. No associate survey this year. "We typically only put the survey out there when associates have the bandwidth to give valuable feedback." Meaning do you think we're crazy? We dont need a survey to hear how pissed you are at us and really we dont care.

  4. Executives do not care about risk. Just get it done they say. Even if its wrong for now still submit it so it gets done. You can try to fix it later. But this causes a huge risk to business....what risk?...i see no risk?....just do it like i told you to.....

  5. Ever ask yourself where they hired most these managers? I haven't met a single one that can tell me anything about my job that i didnt already know. I was actually told that i needed to dumb things down for the executives. I was specifially told I was "talking over their heads." SmH

My work from home should be dismissed. Managers working from home should also be dismissed. We have a person that is no longer a manager and still has a managers cube, laptop and works from home occasionally. I really think it's time for new management in the Post Closing Area. You have employees signing in at 6:30 and then other employees receive an email, telling them you can't enter the doors until 6:50. Confused here. Same umbrella and certain employees can start work at 6:30. Insane.

Our AtWork people were brought back, then their laptops were taken away, then they were redeployed to an inbound call unit taking customer service calls.

Thanks for that, so much to consider, since the roll out of these things seem to be staggered. Have actually been anxiously waiting for associate sat survey this year, so damn had so much queued up to share

Very true. They bring people in from other LOB that don't have a clue what they are doing. But yet try and talk about career path within the bank that are impossible to get to unless you are sleeping with someone. This place is a joke.
