Notice how the kind of stuff gets less comments than the rumors and gossip ? Nobody cares about this!

Of course it's relevant. If you're talking the talk and not walking the walk, that's a major issue. What the activists are saying is that only a truly independent enforcement body can determine if standards are actually being followed. Even the best intentions can go awry in the field. It's not good enough to just say "Oh we would never allow that to happen," or "Trust us, we have core values." That's why it's relevant.. because ultimately customers are paying top dollar for meat they can "feel good" about. The allegations now need to be investigated. Note that I'm not saying they're true, just that an investigation is needed.

Lol, how is it relevant?

It is relevant because it is another key point of how deceptive and misleading whole foods market is, not just to their own TEAM MEMEBERS, but to their consumers as well.

You want to pride yourself on animal welfare standards and thereby inflate pricing to infer that treating an animal "better" costs more? It doesn't.

"Just in time for Thanksgiving, an animal-rights activist group has alleged “horrific conditions” at a farm that supplies Whole Foods turkeys — and that the farm is just part of the grocery chain’s misleading claims about the welfare of the animals whose meat it sells."

That is how it is relevant you digusting global troll. Piss off.
