I was informed by leadership that they are eliminating the buyer position in produce and only having one supervisor.

The produce team leader and the 2 atls. This was straight from my team leader.
Who will be doing all buying?
Not merging. We will have 1 tl, 2 atl, and 1 supervisor. The leadership group will buy. Our dept does over $200,000 a week in sales so it is not because of sales. They say it is happening sometime between February and September.
This is news. Will produce be consolidating with another team?
