Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Time to pack up and leave

My store combined bakery/prep Foods, meat/Seafood, and grocery/whole body/ specialty. For no raise in wage at all. Most people left to go to other stores. But the stores they moved to are now getting combined as well. Not going to be sticking around for much more, I am sure there are many many many more that think the same way

vPTG, I'm here in MA. This is (at least to TLs and above) been known in the DC area for a little while. I'm at a DC store and we average just over 1M/week. I have my resume updated, and am looking now instead of waiting for the inevitable next round of cuts.

ENMvPTg, what are the sales numbers for your store? Any info you can give like that helps me compare your story to stores in my region. I am trying to relate what is happening in your area to what might happen in mine.

Isn't this the new norm? I thought that any store making less than 1.2M/week in sales would be going to this model at the beginning of the year.
