John Mackey said we are not anti-union just post union. You guys ready for your wake up call? For those of us who are left: realize your rights. You have a right, as a WFM employee, to engage in collective bargaining. That way you don't have to hover in a corner and can find purpose. They took out the top tier of TMs in one fell swoop and it was intentional. Those were the folks most likely to organize. I miss them so much... Its up to us who are left to make this company what it says it is. They want you to be scared and thankful that you have a job. Resist this logic and join a union UFCW. Its your only hope. Google "Employee Rights National Labor Relations Act" and get ready to fight. Also, on a practical level, reset all passwords you have with WFM. Great luck to all!

There is not one UFCW company that is better to work for than Wholefoods. Go ahead and name one. Giant Eagle? Meijer? Safeway? Dont be stupid people. Unions just steal money.
Never give up on workers uniting and forming unions even if WF tanks don't keep beating your head against the same brick wall and think you will get better results!!
I hope you're right about shortening hours of operation. Working until 10pm, especially on Sundays is bullshit. There's no point. And if we opened a little later maybe the load could arrive before we open and we could get some work done before customer are in the store.
It doesn't matter anymore. Just give it up! Stocks are going to shit, there is no Leadership, store morale is at an all time low, customers are barely trickling in during the day, and after 6pm it's a ghost town. We have already changed our business hours to adjust. 8am-8pm is going to be the set norm across the country to "promote healthy eating habits"-promote breakfast and limit consumption after 8pm for a healthy life style. Which we all know it's only because there is minimal business after 8pm. Whole Foods is nomore. Expect us to be bought out after Nov 4th's financial call. We will be guaranteed a job through the holidays, but after that it's safe to say that we should start looking for a new job. No crazy Black Friday shopping for us haRd working whole foods employees this year.
