Disgusted by the layoffs and having my concerns over the last two years of employment confirmed, I'm getting out despite not getting offered severance. I'm pretty deep into the onboarding process at anther company, and if other people are planning on walking, I'd like to be in solidarity and go at the same time.

I plan on doing as little as possible this holiday season. Death by attrition.
It does way more harm to stay in and keep getting paid doing virtually nothing. Not a bad way to make a buck this day and age. If you clock in you are taking their money, no matter what you do. Walk around and look busy. Whatever it takes to wait out the severance you might get. They have always been very timid about firing people because they are a bunch of spineless nerds. They would rather create a situation that will tempt people to walk out and quit because that saves them time and money. Walking out couldn't possibly do anymore harm that they haven't already done to themselves. Don't worry about job duties, deadlines, responsibilities, taking lunches, wearing aprons, non slip shoes, hats. How much control over you will you still allow them to have? Get over it and take it very easy until your last day. It will be the easiest money you ever made
They killed off the ones whod have done it already...
