Today's my day off and I am very curious as to what went down during the E-Town Hall. Anybody get the opportunity to watch it? Any details?

worked that day...........god forbid leadership let you leave the floor to listen.............
Wow such hostility. I listened to our earnings call. I apologize if I wasn't able to drive to my store on my day off to watch the town hall. My livelihood is just as much as stake as anybody else. Just curious if there was any insight into moves the company would be taking and was disappointed when my honest question was met with sarcasm and insult. I'm scared as I know many other people are. This was my first comment on this website and will definitely be my last. This is a time when we as team members should be supporting each other, not trying to bring others down.
Fl atl, maybe if you cared that much you should have gone in to participate instead of asking the jokers on disgruntledemployees.com to recap, then getting put out when you don't like what they say.
I do know that they urged everyone to read the response/report for yesterday's financial call and that whatever points were made in that statement were the gist of the town hall today.
Yeah, very helpful recaps. Thank you. Now to the other adults in the room...
Ha, 193926, I loved your synopsis! It sounds like you got a lot out of it.
The comic book guy looking fellow implied that the chronic issues with out of stocks are mostly the fault of tms. The Riff Raff looking old guy, when asked about store to store cannibalism, basically said "umm yeah, we've kind of thought about it, we plan on continuing to open and tons of new stores, and we hope it won't be a problem." Mackey said they don't prefer to lay people off but sometimes it's necessary. Robb said "race to the bottom" like 12 times. They talked a lot about 365 stores. They assured us that they kind of but not really care about TM happiness, urging us to focus more on our TM excellence and productivity. Good stuff.
