Is it true that they may be further consolidating PBS positions?

I sure hops so. All they are is the store snitch.
PBS will now be part of Bakery.
It makes me sad that my old tmsl will be put in this position soon. She was lovely and did her job very well. She always made time for team members. I doubt sh'll bother to apply for metro.
TMS (team member services) implies that your team members actually have needs to be serviced. Changing it to PBS (payroll, benefit specialist) just removes the human connection even further. With less workers than ever in the stores and updated timekeeper/employee management systems it's only matter of time before it's consolidated even more.
I'm sure my TMSS will be let go in the MW soon enough. Such a shame.

A tremendous amount of PBSs peaced-out in this region. In fact, there are numerous TMSG (no longer called PBS) positions available, all salaried positions with laptops, 2-3 store oversight and little time for team members. Everything will end up going through CEN within the next few months. They don't want them dealing with team members anymore. None of it makes sense, but then again it's Whole Foods.
That's what happened last month in the NA.

@200760 how about stating which region you're in?
My PBS told me that in January, her position is over. ( at least in this region) the talk was that she'd have to reapply for the Metro PBS, just like the marketers. It sounds like an impossible position.
