Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Big one coming near end of Feb.

At least it's after bonuses. All I am hoping for is a decent bonus and then a package.

I was laid off in December and still received my bonus. I agree with others, doesn't matter your job performance, I had excels on my PDP's while others who were just sliding by and doing minimal work stayed. There's no rhyme or reason behind who is laid off anymore. (I was in short sale and deed in lieu)

The only people that probably love their jobs are the ones that probably brown nose to move up and get decent raises. Employee morale is at an all time low with the bank.

I can't imagine anyone loves their job at this place any longer.

I told my boss...if they talk about packages...sign me up....just my luck I will be stuck at a job I hate while others who love the job will get packaged.

I too was an associate let go after 28 years following the Countrywide mess (a mess it was). Numerous accolades, and Spirit Medallion winner. Gladit Happened is right; they don't care. If you number is up, it's over that simple. Best of luck to everyone who might be affected. Better things await.

I'm one of those let go after 20 years following the Merrill Lynch debacle. Top performer, 10% of Sales, Spirit Award of Excellence Winner. My advice - have a back-up plan and DON'T WORK LATE - they don't care :)

Still seems silly to do it after bonus - Ive seen this company let ppl with tenure of 20 plus years go right before Christmas - boast in earnings about "managing expenses" im a betting type and have my chips stacked on Wednesday February 10th to get the call ....

bonus expectations so bad no need to rush the mass layoffs.
