They got rid of the store team meetings in Seattle right after the layoffs in October. They never bothered to inform us that they were not having them anymore. They just stopped. Also, there are no more secret shoppers and they got rid of double bag refund day. I wouldn't be surprised if they soon got rid of the bag refund and loyalty cards soon. All money saving measures. They are desperate.

Store meetings used to be once/month. It was a big deal, there would be juice coffee and usually snacks available. Ha not any more. It's not like I care but a lot of people have complained that they're coming in on a morning they're off why can't they have some free coffee?

I never go to meetings. My TL couldn't care less, he never shows up himself.

Don't you tell us not to have meetings! We are management if not the executive management of WFM. We can even have a meeting about a meeting about another meeting. The list goes on! We even had a company wide meeting to roll out our famous ad campaign where we flushed a little over $50million down the toilet, which still has our stock at half-price. So why not have more meetings. But wait, our labor budget is tight.

The meetings is the only time you will ever get to see the clowns in leaderships perform. All the hot air and shit coming out of their mouth. You get them moving around like elephants (slow and chewing more bull shits to throw at team members) and most of all watching these monkeys( team leaders & ASTL) lick/groom each other asses because of all the great banana shit ideas!

Future meeting theme "Magicians in denial " Let see who can predict how many shit can come out of leaderships ass.

Enjoy your peanuts on the sidelines.

Who is going to shop the orders? All the TMs at my store are so overworked some look like they might keel over and die. I am sure once this program starts they will also further cut labor %. We can't even handle the basic day to day shit anymore please keep adding more for us to do.

I recall when they had them monthly! That really sucked. I agree they are a waste of time.

Those meetings are pointless. Most of them, people couldn't even hear anything being said. Rah rah rah, come in on your day off at 6am or 11pm and listen to a bunch of BS. Total waste of time, energy and resources.

Those meetings have been b.s. cheerleading sessions for years..just get rid of them..and how do they think having a meeting at 6am,so team members who take public transportation are out at 4am is safe??
