Been here 17 years and just had to quit my second job AND my volunteer shelter days. Lots of people I work with had to go to PT to maintain family but WFM does not care. They will throw your assunder the bus at a whim. They keep encouraging me to go to PT.

Team Member happiness is a joke.

2zfk, you're missing the point. The company doesn't want to work with you at all if you need a second job. That's the problem. They want to use you part time but you have to clear YOUR schedule to actually get any hours. You're wrong. They don't want to use you consistently, they want you to be available ALWAYS so they can use you inconsistently.

We were told that if we have restrictions, we could be bumped to part time. If you are part time and have restrictions, you will not get very many hours. They are not trying to work with us at all! Feels like they are trying to get rid of full time people so they don't have to pay for health insurance. TM's aren't happy, customers aren't happy, so expect sales to drop.

I don't know why people make a huge deal about Kronos as if it's a life ruiner. It's the same as if we were still hand writing a schedule: your availability is entered into a pattern and you are scheduled around that. I will admit that for part timers it can be a pain in the ass scheduling them up to their hours over a number of days a week in small shifts. But like I said, you can enter an availability pattern so if you have another job then get with them to figure out a constant schedule. I hear a lot of complaining about that last part, but honestly it's no different than when we hired part timers before Kronos - it's not our job to keep up with your irene jobs weekly schedule if it changes. Any retail or hourly employment place will expect you to give them the courteousy of a constant schedule to rely on if you have another job. People are freaking out about it as if it's a huge game changer for work life balance and it's not.

TLs or anyone who writes the teams schedules have access to make changes. Don't know how every store will enforce multiple people using it if there's only supposed to be one user though. At our store there are 3-4 people who take turns writing the schedule, and we use our TLs account. I don't know if this will change. It is a pitiful waste of money and time.
