Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

mywork

I'm a mywork associate in technology located in California. I have not been told to report or move back in the office. Really not sure what is going to happen due to all the changes occurring in BAC technology. One thing is for sure: I'm keeping my resume updated.

Can someone explain to me if those on mywork that were laid off TOLD that they are being laid off due to being on mywork? or were they just let go?

Someone I know WAS told they have the option of coming back in which is why I ask.

If you want to keep it and commenting to the office is an option, then commute. Otherwise you are targeted without a doubt. Looking forward to my severance package.

I was a my work tech employee in concord ca. Never was told to go back into the office. Was excellent in what I did. Then bang I was told I was being severance. My manager was more upset than I was. So guys it's happening and sooner or later you will be told it's your turn, especially if you are located in a non-hub sites. California especially. Your manager will have no choice but let you go.

Same here! Also my work from the LA area. Resume is up to date and so is my LinkedIn profile. Never hurts to be prepared. I just hope if it takes that turn that we're offered severance.
