MyWork Program and Cuts

Can someone confirm or deny please. Obvioiusly any employee who is MYWORK and not winthin a certain distane of a HUB location will be severed or offered to relocate to the HUB (happened to my boss, so I can confirm this), however, my boss told me that if you are currenlty in an office, regardless if it is a HUB or not, you will not be impacted (at least for now). Question is, is this statement true about if you are currently in an office, that is non HUB?

To me some of this sounds like a lot of HR trolling. I knew people on MyWork and never heard beach noises, slot machines going off, lions roaring or Amber being called to the stage. The worst I heard on calls were barking dogs and kids screaming at times..but these were internal calls so while not appropriate, weren't the end of the World.

While the program may have been abused by some, the vast majority used it as intended. You'll always have those rotten apples, and no matter where they are located they'll find a way to be useless and a concrete slab on the team.

If it isn't HR trolling then it's sour grape employees that weren't allowed to go on MyWork due to performance issues or got pulled off for the same. While MyWork has been brought up a lot, it's not the MAIN issue. BOA decimating the workforce IS, but I understand MyWork is a low-hanging fruit for them.

Other companies still allow remote employment. If that's your thing, start applying. If you can't handle working remotely, or get jealous of those who can...then stay away from those companies and be a cube monkey. Do whatever is best for you. But we need to stop the intentional trolling and infighting and support each other as employees in a company that doesn't care about them.

I was not saying that call centers will be moved. My work people will just work from call centers close by if they're asked to go back. And I agree, some of My Work people were doing anything but actual work.

to the most recent poster...........i'm not talking about call center locations, I'm talking about MYWORK associates, the mandate is as I outlined. Obviously, call center associates will not be relocated.....and as far as sitting at the beach, to all of you who are MYWORK associates, give me a break........you all know how the system was used and you had your tricks of "doctor's" appointements, etc.......truth is I always new who was on MYWORK because they never responded to me in a timely, coherent, thoughtfull manner, they were always preocuppied with "other" non work activities......I'm not slamming any one and I think it's unfortunate that this nonsense is happening from upper management, but you all know this behaviour was true.

Absolutely not true. Bank has many call center locations throughout the country with thousands of people working there and many able to use their offices while enrolled in My Work. There might be HUBS but it is ludicrous to think all will be called to work from there. Btw, it's never a smart idea to move from main office or accept a position with a company who doesn't have the office close by. I know of a person who moved to FL far away from any offices, and would tell us he is sitting on the beach during conference calls. I wouldn't feel bad if he was let go.

to the most recent posted question......can't disclose that, but suffice it to say that it is pretty much fact....my understanding is that HUB locations are: St Louis, NJ, Dallas, LA, JAX, CHLT, I may be missing a few, but essentially if you are not within a certain radius, you will be forced back into one of these HUBS, if you are outside the radius, you will be given option to relocate or sever employment...note here you will not be fired, but severed, so you will still qualify for severance. Also each LOB is allowed to have no more than 5% of direct reports on MYWORK, so MYWORK will still remain but a very reduced numbers, of course managers discretion on who that would be.

Where are you and your boss located? Which LOB?

I know of one MyWork Project Manager being let go in Plano

Good in Albany? About 60 people were called back into the office so far. Maybe they didn't get to you yet.
