So I happen to sit in a location and an SVP on my team is suppossed to sit right next to me, but lo and behold, she is NEVER in the office.......I do a little bit of reconnisance and I notice that this person is constantly on "MOBILE" on communicator, which is indicative of having VPN turned off and working from your phone......careful all on what you disclose i terms of personal secrets on these sites.......but riddle me this: if the mandate is to be in an office why are some people NEVER in the office.........my LOB boss, this person and actually another individual that sits next to me as well.........see the MYWORK program and criteria is not distributed evenly across the board, this is why Cathy Bessant is a jackass as well

WHAT?? 2 weeks severance for 20 yrs worked? I have never heard this. I heard 2 wks per year up to 1 yr severance.

So they transfer a colleague to Urban. No choice for severance package. Just a transfer or buh-bye. Then after a year at Urban they severance her with a two week package. 20 years at the bank!!!! This was a strategic move. This should be a class action suit. Bank of America planned this out. Makes me ill!!!

On a different subject concerning middle management.

I suspect this to be true across all IT orgs. But take the GT&O IT org, you could "fire" ALL SVPs & VPs, and the org would run just fine !

The peons, salving away daily in the trenches would bring back, what is now a lost and inefficient IT org ... one that is glutted with the fatness of politics, policies and stiflingly procedures.

Send them all packing .... !

And we can start with the Biggest Loser, Ms. Cathy Bessant ....

I would have said you should be careful giving our such a personalized sounding message, except there's so many exceptions as you've noted they have no idea who you could be. If you haven't noticed, senior leadership has no misgivings about giving off the disgusting stench of hypocrisy. Seems they really love rubbing in your face who is in charge and screw you if you think you're being treated 'differently'. These guys should run for political office.
