Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

The impacts of 4/20

It is unfortunate the times we live in. This company I have worked at for over a decade I can say is such an utter disappointment. On 4/20/16 in the local market that I know of over 50 employees were let go in an effort to manage expenses. In business these things do happen time to time its just a fact. However; where the disappointment comes in when reading articles like the one below which outlines the absolute greed of the individuals in power at this bank. The value of the "Jet Perk" in 2015, the benefit was valued at $380,323. Also Brian Moynihan had an increase in salary from 13 million to 16 million dollar year over year in a company that is not profiting. If you are wondering if you should leave this company my advice is to do so, I do not see this improving anytime soon. Since this regime has taken over the focus on the people of this company has shifted to only profits and to do whatever it takes to make more money at the expense of the hard working individuals at the ground level and if you have already been impacted it is a blessing and you should take it as such.

Can wish they would've given me my walking papers that day. Would have been one hell of a story, and a magical day

How dare he even mention work-life balance in the face of what this company is doing to employees. I have lost count of the number of co-workers having to uproot their entire lives, including moving in order to keep their jobs so they can work in a "Hub" city. Maybe the company could pay for me to fly into Charlotte every day....
